Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a sheathed- element glow plug (1) for an internal combustion engine. Said plug consists of a plug housing (2), a connection part for the electrical current that is located on said plug housing (2), in addition to a sheathed-element heater (4), which usually takes the form of a tube comprising an embedded heating element. The connection part and the heating element are electrically coupled by means of a connection bolt (5) and a contact element (6). According to the invention, the connection bolt (5) and the contact element (6) are at least partially surrounded inside the housing (2) by an electrically insulating plastic sleeve (7).
