description PURPOSE: A fixing apparatus for an electro-photographic apparatus having a multiple fixing station and a fixing method thereof are provided to supply continuously an image with high quality on a final substrate. CONSTITUTION: The first fixing station(12) has the first and second prefusing rollers(14,16). The second prefusing roller is contacted with the first prefusing roller so that the first nip region(32) is generated between the first and second prefusing rollers. One of the first and second prefusing rollers is heated and then provides the prefusing temperature to inside of the first nip region. The second fixing station(18) is separately positioned from the first fixing station, has the first and second finish rollers(20,22). The second finish roller is contacted with the first finish roller so that the second nip region(42) is generated between the first and second finish rollers. One of the first and second finish rollers is heated and then provides the fixing temperature to inside of the second nip region. The fixing temperature of the second nip region is higher than the prefusing temperature of first nip region.
