description PURPOSE: An image display device, a display panel for the same and a method for driving the same are provided to compensate the deviation of the threshold voltage of the transistor if the threshold voltage of the driving transistor is equal to that of the compensation transistor. CONSTITUTION: A display panel for an image display device includes a display device(OLED), a first transistor(M1), a second transistor(M2), a first switching device, a second switching device and a third switching device. The display device(OLED) displays the image corresponding to the applied the amount of current. The first transistor(M1) outputs the current corresponding to the voltage between the main electrode and the control electrode. The control electrode of the second transistor(M2) is connected to the control electrode of the first transistor(M1). The diode is connected to the second transistor(M2). The first switching device is connected to the main electrode of the second transistor(M2) for transmitting the data voltage from the data line to the second transistor(M2) in response to the selection signal from the current scan line. The second switching device transmits the precharge voltage to the control electrode of the first transistor(M1) in response to the first control signal before the data voltage is supplied. And, the third switching device electrically blocks the display device(OLED) from the first transistor(M1) turned off in response to the second control signal.
