TUBERCULOSIS-SPECIFIC ANTIGEN AND DIAGNOSTIC KIT USING THE SAME TO ACCOMPLISH RAPID AND ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS OF TUBERCULOSIS

PURPOSE: A tuberculosis-specific antigen and a diagnostic kit using the same are provided. The antigen has improved sensitivity and specificity to an antibody. Therefore, rapid and accurate diagnosis of tuberculosis can be accomplished. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosis of tuberculosis comprises the steps of: (1) obtaining a biological sample containing at least Mt-1 antibody of Mycobacterium tuberculosis; (2) obtaining purified recombinant protein containing the Mt-1 antigen; (3) adding the biological sample into the recombinant protein to form an antigen-antibody complex; and (4) detecting the antigen-antibody complex, wherein the biological sample is selected from blood, serum, urine and saliva; the recombinant protein further contains any one or more selected from 38kD, 16kD, Mt-12 and Mt-13; and the detection is carried out by using enzyme-linked immunoassay, radiation immunoassay, fluorescence immunoassay, particle agglutination, precipitation and in situ coloring analysis.
