description PURPOSE: A submarine is provide to improve the use possibility of hydrogen and to increase output of an energy supply system by supplying much heat into a hydrogen reservoir by mounting at least one fuel cell and at least one hydroxide metal hydrogen reservoir. CONSTITUTION: A submarine has at least one fuel cell and at least one hydroxide metal hydrogen reservoir(4) and uses thermal energy discharged from the fuel cell as waste heat to separate hydrogen from the hydrogen reservoir. The hydroxide metal hydrogen reservoir is used as a heat storage device. The whole thermal energy emitted from the waste heat of the fuel cell is supplied into the hydroxide metal hydrogen reservoir. The hydroxide metal hydrogen reservoir is disposed at the outside of a pressure ship hull(6) of the submarine. A heat insulating unit(8) is arranged outward on the surface facing the other side from the pressure ship hull.
