Method for ENUM call identification by NPDB

PURPOSE: A method for processing an ENUM(Telephone Number Mapping) service call by using an NPDB(Number Portability DB) is provided to decide whether to register in an ENUM service when a call is originated, and to separately process a general call from an ENUM call. CONSTITUTION: An SSP(Service Switching Point) collects number portability information and ENUM registered state information from an NPDB by using an INAP message. The SSP decides the collected ENUM registered state information. If the decided ENUM registered state information is an ENUM call, the SSP transmits the ENUM call to a gateway having an ENUM function to perform an ENUM call processing. If the collected ENUM registered state information is not the ENUM call, the SSP performs a general call processing. 본 발명은 일반 호 및 ENUM(tElephone NUmber Mapping) 호를 분리하여 처리함으로써, 전화망 발신 일반 호의 효율적인 루팅을 가능하게 하는 번호 이동성 데이터베이스(NPDB : Number Portability DB)를 이용한 ENUM 서비스 호 처리 방법에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명은 SSP(Service Switching Point)가 INAP 메시지를 이용하여 번호 이동성 데이터베이스로부터 번호 이동성 정보 및 ENUM 가입 상태 정보를 수집하는 단계; 상기 수집된 ENUM 가입 상태 정보를 판단하여, ENUM 호이면, 상기 SSP는 ENUM 기능을 가진 게이트웨이로 호를 전달하여 ENUM 호 처리를 수행하는 단계; 및 상기 수집된 ENUM 가입 상태 정보를 판단하여, ENUM 호가 아니면, 상기 SSP는 일반 호 처리를 수행하는 단계; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 번호 이동성 데이터베이스를 이용한 ENUM 서비스 호 처리 방법을 제공한다.
