When molten steel is refined in the argon oxygen decarburization device, quicklime is added to molten steel. Quicklime is added when carbon contents are as follow: 1.5-2.0£C|%, 0.09-0.13£C|%, and 0.03-0.05£C|%. In a state that carbon contents are 1.5-2.0£C|%, an amount and a weight percentage of quicklime to be added are 5-7Kg/T-S and 10-25%. In a state that carbon contents are 0.09-0.13£C|%, an amount and a weight percentage of quicklime to be added are 10-30Kg/T-S and 30-55%. In a state that carbon contents are 0.03-0.05£C|%, an amount and a weight percentage of quicklime to be added are 10-20Kg/T-S and 30-50%. 본 발명은 스테인레스 강의 용강정련방법에 관한 것으로서, 생석회 첨가시기를 적절히 설정하여 생석회의 재소성에 의해 치밀하고 딱딱한 조직으로 변하는 Dead Burnt화를 방지하고 첨가된 생석회의 반응을 쉽고도 빠르게 하여 반응성을 양호하게 함으로써 생석회의 재화율을 현저히 향상시킬 수 있는 스테인레스강의 용강정련방법을 제공하고자 하는데, 그 목적이 있다. 본 발명은 304 스테인레스강을 제조하기 위하여 AOD설비에서 스테인레스용강의 정련방법에 있어서, 상기 AOD설비에서의 용강정련시 생석회가 첨가되고; 상기 생석회 첨가시기는 1.5 ~ 2.0[C]%시점, 0.09 ~ 0.13[C]%시점, 및 0.03 ~ 0.05[C]%시점이고; 그리고 상기 1.5 ~ 2.0[C]%시점에서의 생석회 첨가량 및 첨가비(총량기준)는 각각 5 ~ 17kg/T-S 및 10 ~ 25%이고, 0.09 ~ 0.13[C]%시점에서 생석회 첨가량 및 첨가비는 각각 10 ~ 30kg/T-S 및 30 ~55%이고, 그리고 0.03 ~ 0.05[C]%시점에서 생석회 첨가량 및 첨가비는 각각 10 ~ 20kg/T-S 및 30 ~ 50%인 것을 특징으로 하는 스테인레스강의 용강정련방법을 그 요지로 한다.
