An operating rod(6) formed lengthwise in the lower portion of the hinge plate slides upward and downward while being tightly inserted to an insertion hole(51) formed in the bottom of a fuel filler housing(5). 본 발명은 차량의 연료주입구를 개폐하는 연료 필러캡에 관한 것으로, 차량의 연료 필러하우징 내측으로 돌출된 연료주입구를 개폐하는 연료 필러캡에 있어서, 상기 연료 필러캡에 회전가능하게 조립된 리테이너 링의 외주 일측에 돌출된 브라켓관과; 상기 리테이너 링에서 돌출된 브라켓에 연결단이 회전가능하게 힌지핀으로 연결되는 경첩판재와; 상기 경첩판재의 저부에 길게 형성되며, 연료 필러하우징의 일측 바닥에 천공된 삽입공에 이완되지 않게 삽입된 상태에서 상,하 방향으로 슬라이딩 가능하게 설치되는 작동로드를 구성하여 연료 필러캡의 개폐조작을 용이하게 수행할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 연료 필러캡의 분실을 방지할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 발명이다.
