Shock-absorbing Body for A Shadow Mask

PURPOSE: A shadow mask vibration absorbing structure is provided to prevent deterioration of color purity by effectively reducing the vibration energy transmitted to the shadow mask from an external source. CONSTITUTION: A shadow mask vibration absorbing structure comprises a shadow mask(3) having a plurality of fine holes for passage of electron beams; a frame(5) for supporting the shadow mask, and where a vibration energy is transmitted from an external source; and a skirt portion(20) having an end extended from an effective surface of the shadow mask and the other end coupled to the frame, wherein the skirt portion has a bent section formed between both ends of the skirt portion. Thus, the shadow mask vibration absorbing structure reduces the vibration energy transmitted to the frame by absorbing the vibration energy.
