Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A disk brake prevents the partial side wear of a pad and improves the durability and the reliability thereof by making a surface pressure distributed load which a pad really receives uniform. CONSTITUTION: A bore(11) where a piston(13) is longitudinally movable from the center line(D1) of pad plates(40,50) is machined eccentrically toward the advance direction of a disk(30) and forms slant surfaces(41a, 51a) on one ends of the pad plates(40,50) responding to the advancing rotational direction inlet side of the disk(30) not to contact with the disk(30). The pressure of the piston(13) is relatively strongly applied to the advancing rotational direction outlet side. Thus, the wearing state of the pads(41,51) is done more equivalently on a real actuation because the surface pressure is uniformly applied to the one end portions of the pads(41,51). Therefore, durability is increased and a braking noise is reduced, thereby improving the reliability of a total disk brake. |
