Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A splitting apparatus of ADSL(Asynchronous Digital Subscribe Line) system is provided to implement a splitter unit as a PBA type by constituting the splitter as a separate shelf without attachment it to the backside of the DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Asynchronous Modem) apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A splitter shelf(100) includes a plurality of splitter units(110-130) for mixing and outputting the received POTS signal and ADSL signal. A plurality of modem shelves provides a plurality of ADSL signals inputted via an ADSL cable to the respective splitter units(110-130) of the splitter shelf(100). The splitter shelf(100) possesses a backboard(140). The backboard(140) possesses an ADSL connector and a PTOS connector for receiving the ADSL signal and POTS signal. Since a DSLB(Digital Subscribe Line Board)(210-230) possesses 8 lines, three DSLBs(210-230) are connected to a split unit(110-130).
