Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An obstacle perceiving device of vehicle and method thereof prevents an accident due to an obstacle and preserves the safety of a driver by perceiving the obstacle or an irregular structures on traveling at night and advancing and driving back in low velocity and to park the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a vehicle speed sensor(50), a garage sensor(51), many obstacle sensors(52), an electromagnetic controlling part(53) and an alarming part(54). The vehicle speed sensor(50) perceives the velocity of a vehicle on starting the engine of vehicle. The garage sensor(51) perceives the height of the vehicle from a ground on perceiving a vehicle speed. The obstacle sensors(52) mounted on the inner centers, the left sides and the right sides of the front and the rear bumpers perceive obstacles on the road or the side directions. The electromagnetic controlling part(53) outputs a decision signal about the resistance of the obstacles on the front/rear road or the side directions by a predetermined program processing the perceived signals from the obstacle sensors(52). The alarming part(54) generates an alarm by a signal outputted from the electromagnetic controlling part(53).
