HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR

PURPOSE: To provide a hydraulic excavator provided with an operator cab having a sliding door, which has its fuel tank arranged in a limited small turning circle and a usable capacity of the fuel tank enlarged. CONSTITUTION: There is provided a hydraulic excavator which is provided with an operator cab having a door which frontward and rearward slides on the external side of the excavator, on an upper surface of a revolving frame rotatively arranged at a lower traveling body. The hydraulic excavator is driven by an engine. A fuel tank 7 for the engine is arranged at a rear portion of the operator cab 4. The fuel tank 7 has a notch 7a formed therein, which functions to avoid interference by the rear end of the door 4a when the door 4a slides to be fully opened.
