Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for recovering high purity lithium of a waste secondary battery, which is implemented to have a short reaction time and an excellent high purity lithium recovery rate by using a thermite reaction in which a reaction proceeds at a high speed when recovering high purity lithium from a waste secondary battery. The method for recovering high purity lithium of a waste secondary battery comprises: a lithium mixture separation step of separating a lithium mixture by performing pyrolysis, electrolyte separation, and separation of a separation membrane on a waste secondary battery; an active metal separation step of separating an active metal from the lithium mixture separated in the lithium mixture separation step; a lithium compound acquisition step of acquiring a lithium compound by separating magnetic materials from the lithium mixture from which the active metal is separated in the active metal separation step; a thermite reactant generation step of generating a thermite reactant through thermite reaction by mixing a metal oxide with the active metal separated in the active metal separation step and the lithium compound acquired in the lithium compound acquisition step; and a lithium recovery step of recovering lithium from the thermite reactant generated in the thermite reactant generation step. 본 발명은 폐 이차전지로부터 고순도 리튬을 회수할 시에, 고속으로 반응이 진행되는 테르밋 반응(thermite reaction)을 이용하여, 반응시간이 짧고 우수한 고순도 리튬 회수율을 나타내도록 구현한 폐 이차전지의 고순도 리튬 회수 방법에 관한 것으로, 폐 이차전지에 대해 열분해, 전해질 분리 및 분리막 분리를 수행하여 리튬혼합물을 분리시켜 주는 리튬혼합물 분리 단계; 리튬혼합물 분리 단계에서 분리시켜 준 리튬혼합물로부터 활성금속을 분리시켜 주는 활성금속 분리 단계; 활성금속 분리 단계에서 활성금속을 분리한 리튬혼합물로부터 마그네틱을 분리시켜 리튬화합물을 획득해 주는 리튬화합물 획득 단계; 활성금속 분리 단계에서 분리시킨 활성금속과 리튬화합물 획득 단계에서 획득한 리튬화합물에 금속산화물을 믹싱하여 테르밋 반응을 통해 테르밋 반응물을 생성해 주는 테르밋 반응물 생성 단계; 및 테르밋 반응물 생성 단계에서 생성해 준 테르밋 반응물로부터 리튬을 회수해 주는 리튬 회수 단계를 포함한다.
