OTT method of re-configuring contents presentation for OTT service by use of external DataBase

The present invention relates, in general, to a technology for allowing a user to effectively check content information in an OTT service providing various categories of content and, more specifically, to a technology for re-configuring content presentation of an OTT service by linking an external database, which is able to link an internal meta information database provided by an OTT service supplier and an archive database provided from outside for multiple purposes on a variety of content provided by the OTT service, allow an OTT device to reconfigure a content presentation screen, and provide content information to a user in an integral and effective manner. According to the present invention, information of content provided by the OTT service can be effectively expressed to a user. Specifically, according to the present invention, even if the internal meta information database provided by an OTT service supplier is defective overall or provides insufficient meta information on specific content, an OTT device can greatly display a content presentation screen to a user, and always maintain a high user satisfaction on the OTT device. 본 발명은 일반적으로 여러 카테고리의 콘텐츠를 제공하는 OTT 서비스에서 사용자가 콘텐츠 정보를 효과적으로 확인할 수 있도록 해주는 기술에 관한 것이다. 특히, 본 발명은 OTT 서비스에서 제공되는 다양한 콘텐츠에 대하여 OTT 서비스 공급자가 제공하는 내부의 메타정보 데이터베이스와 외부에서 범용으로 제공되는 아카이브 데이터베이스를 연동하여 OTT 디바이스가 콘텐츠 프리젠테이션 화면을 재구성함으로써 콘텐츠 정보를 통합적이고 효과적으로 사용자에게 제공하는 외부 데이터베이스 연동에 의한 OTT 서비스의 콘텐츠 프리젠테이션 재구성 기술에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면 OTT 서비스에서 제공되는 콘텐츠들의 정보를 사용자에게 효과적으로 표현해줄 수 있는 장점이 있다. 특히, 본 발명에 따르면 OTT 서비스 공급자가 제공하는 내부의 메타정보 데이터베이스가 전반적으로 불량하거나 혹은 특정 콘텐츠에 대한 메타 정보가 부족하게 제공되는 경우에도 OTT 디바이스가 콘텐츠 프리젠테이션 화면을 사용자에게 양호하게 표시해줄 수 있어 OTT 디바이스에 대한 사용자 만족도를 항상 높게 유지할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
