Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a novel polypeptide and uses thereof as an antibiotic. More specifically, the present invention relates to a polypeptide derived from a bacteriophage, and an antibiotic against bacteria of Enterococcus spp. comprising the polypeptide. A novel endolysin and/or bacteriophage expressing the same provided in the present specification can be usefully used as the antibiotic against Enterococcus spp. bacteria, such as Enterococcus faecium. 신규한 폴리펩타이드 및 이의 항생제로서의 용도에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로, 박테리오파지로부터 유래하는 폴리펩타이드 및 상기 폴리펩타이드를 포함하는 엔테로코커스 속 세균에 대한 항생제에 관한 것이다.
