Multi image display system for providing active time synchronization and method thereof

Disclosed are a multi-screen display system providing an active synchronization time function and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a step of inserting a marker having a different identifier allocated thereto into a predetermined position in an image to be displayed on a plurality of display devices; a step of confirming time information of a time point when a frame related to the allocated marker is displayed from the image disposed in each display device; a step of transmitting information related to the confirmed marker, the time information of the time point when the frame related to the corresponding marker is displayed, identification information of the display device and the like to a main display device selected from the display devices; a step of allowing the main display device to calculate a time difference between the time information of the time point when the frame related to the corresponding marker is displayed, which is transmitted from other display devices, and the time information of the time point when the frame related to the corresponding marker is displayed in the corresponding main display device; and a step of generating and transmitting synchronization information for synchronizing image playback for other display devices with respect to the main display device based on the calculated time difference between the display devices to perform a synchronization function for image playback in other corresponding display devices. Accordingly, a synchronized image can be output in the display devices. 본 발명은 능동형 동기화 시간 기능을 제공하는 다중화면 디스플레이 시스템 및 방법을 개시한다. 즉, 본 발명은 복수의 디스플레이 장치에서 표시될 영상 내의 특정 위치에 서로 다른 식별자가 할당된 마커를 각각 삽입하고, 각 디스플레이 장치에서 표시되는 영상에서 상기 할당된 마커와 관련한 프레임이 표시되는 시점의 시각 정보를 확인하고, 상기 확인된 마커와 관련한 정보, 해당 마커와 관련한 프레임이 표시되는 시점의 시각 정보, 디스플레이 장치의 식별 정보 등을 상기 복수의 디스플레이 장치 중에서 선정된 메인 디스플레이 장치에 각각 전송하고, 상기 메인 디스플레이 장치에서 다른 디스플레이 장치로부터 전송되는 해당 마커와 관련한 프레임이 표시되는 시점의 시각 정보와 해당 메인 디스플레이 장치에서 해당 마커와 관련한 프레임이 표시되는 시점의 시각 정보 간의 차이 시간을 산출하고, 상기 산출된 디스플레이 장치 간의 차이 시간을 근거로 상기 메인 디스플레이 장치를 기준으로 다른 디스플레이 장치에 대한 영상 재생 동기화를 위한 동기화 정보를 생성 및 전송하여 해당 다른 디스플레이 장치에서 영상 재생을 위한 동기화 기능을 수행함으로써, 복수의 디스플레이 장치에서 서로 동기화된 영상을 출력할 수 있다.
