A multimedia content matching system according to the present invention includes: an object information obtaining unit extracting object information including a size and a location of an object image from the multimedia content; an image analysis unit extracting the size and position of the object image again by reflecting analysis information of user multimedia content on the object information obtained by the object information obtaining unit; a difference sense reduction unit extracting matching information including light source information, color sense information and lighting information from the user multimedia content, and reducing a color difference sense and a lighting difference sense generated when matching the multimedia content and the user multimedia content by applying the extracted matching information to an object image; and an image matching unit matching the user multimedia content with the object image from which the size and location are extracted again by the image analysis unit, and of which lighting and a color sense are adjusted by the difference sense reduction unit. 본 발명은 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 정합 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 정합 시스템은 멀티미디어 콘텐츠로부터 객체 영상의 크기와 위치를 포함하는 객체정보를 추출하는 객체정보 획득부와; 사용자 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 분석정보를 상기 객체정보 획득부에 의해 획득된 객체정보에 반영하여 객체 영상의 크기 및 위치를 재추출하는 영상 분석부와; 상기 사용자 멀티미디어 콘텐츠로부터 광원정보, 색감정보 및 조명정보를 포함하는 정합정보를 추출하고, 추출된 정합정보를 객체 영상에 적용하여 상기 멀티미디어 콘텐츠와 상기 사용자 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 정합시 발생하는 색감 이질감 및 조명 이질감을 감소시키는 이질감 감소부; 및 상기 영상 분석부에 의해 크기와 위치가 재추출되고, 상기 이질감 감소부에 의해 조명 및 색감이 조절된 객체 영상을 상기 사용자 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 정합시키는 영상 정합부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
