description | The present invention relates to a lighting device having a protection circuit, more specifically the present invention relates to the lighting device, where AC power is applied, comprising the protection circuit for safely protecting the driving circuit of the lighting device by restricting surge voltage and inrush current. The lighting device includes the protection circuit according to the present invention wherein the protection circuit comprises a surge voltage and inrush current blocking part blocking the surge voltage and inrush current coming from the power being inputted; an EMI removing part removing noise included at the AC power; an overvoltage sensing part detecting overvoltage; and a power controlling part blocking the power from an overvoltage signal detected from the overvoltage sensing part. The power blocking by the overvoltage signal is implemented by SCR relay or by triac control. [Reference numerals] (100) Surge current (SURGE,INRUSH CUTTENT) blocking part;(200) EMI removing part;(300) Overvoltage sensing part (380V);(400) Power controlling part (AC 220V OUPUT);(AA) Lighting device;(BB) Ballast and converter;(CC) Power supply unit |
