description PURPOSE: A rainwater reusing system for a green building is provided to collect and efficiently reuse rainwater falling on a new building constructed under a green building certification system, thereby satisfying requirements for using the rainwater in a water resource field of a green building certification. CONSTITUTION: A rainwater reusing system for a green building includes a screen tank(10), a grit chamber(20), a flow rate adjustment tank(30), a filtration tank(40), a disinfection tank(50), and a water storage tank(60). The screen tank removes suspended matters included in rainwater supplied after initial rainwater is excluded. The grit chamber deposits and removes sand and soil included in the rainwater from which the suspended matters are removed. The flow rate adjustment tank controls a sudden increase in the amount of the rainwater flowing from the grit chamber. The flow rate adjustment tank implements the sedimentation of sludge and the prevention of decomposition with air supplied from an air diffuser(31). The filtration tank comprises a DSF(Dynamic Sand Filter), and passes the rainwater from the flow rate adjustment tank through a fiber bundle in order to remove minute particles. The disinfection tank sterilizes the rainwater from the filtration tank with UV(Ultraviolet) rays. The water storage tank keeps the rainwater, which is finally treated by the UV rays, for a certain period of time, and then discharges the rainwater so that the rainwater can be reused as residential water, industrial/agricultural/landscaping water, and fire fighting water.
