Zusammenfassung:	Artificial turf and a method of making the same are provided to prevent tufted parts of an artificial tuft pile from being damaged by employing a reinforcing fabric and a permeable elastic pad. Artificial turf comprises a foundation cloth(160), artificial turf piles(170), and a reinforcing fabric(140). The artificial turf piles are tufted on the foundation cloth at regular intervals. The reinforcing fabric is attached to the bottom surface of the foundation cloth by an adhesive(150). The adhesive is rubber powder type urethane adhesive. The reinforcing fabric is geotax. An elastic pad is attached to the bottom surface of the reinforcing fabric.
