THE METHOD OF DETECTION MODE OPERATION USING MOVEMENT PERCEPTION OF A LINE OF SIGHT

A method for detection mode operation using movable detection of a line of sight is provided to improve the reliability of a detection result by applying multiple detection modes without the intervention of a user, and compensate a detection coordinates error according to the movement of the line of sight by using the motion information of a sensor and display the compensated detection coordinates in real time. A method for detection mode operation using movable detection of a line of sight comprises the following steps of: inputting a detection command using the movable detection of the line of sight; determining whether a value detected in a multiple frame based detection mode exceeds a threshold value; performing a single frame based detection mode or the multiple frame based detection mode according to the determination result; determining whether to move the line of sight automatically while performing the detection modes to switch the detection mode into the single frame based detection mode or the multiple frame based detection mode; and compensating and displaying finally displayed detection result coordinates in consideration of the running time of the single frame based detection mode or the multiple frame based detection mode.
