E-MAIL CHECKING AND MAKING METHOD USING MOBILE INFORMATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: An E-mail checking and making method using a mobile information terminal are provided to check a content of an E-mail during migration by using a PDA by downloading the E-mail as a text file to a PC, connecting the PDA through an external communication port and downloading the text file to the PDA. CONSTITUTION: A CPU of a PDA responds to a key input for downloading an E-mail text file(200), and downloads a designated E-mail text file and stores it in a memory unit(202). The CPU checks whether the downloading has been completed(204). If the downloading has been completed, the CPU checks whether a user selects an E-mail reading mode or an E-mail listening mode(206). If the user selects the E-mail reading mode, the CPU displays a content of the E-mail as a text on a display unit(208). If the user selects an E-mail listening mode(210), the CPU reads the E-mail text file from the memory unit(212), controls a voice processor to synthesize the content of the E-mail as read to a voice and output it through a speaker(214).
