description PURPOSE:To make it possible to print favorable images on a wide range of printing materials without any feeding trouble, by folding back at least one side of an image-receiving sheet to the back side of a release paper and fixing the one side. CONSTITUTION:An image-receiving material for thermal transfer comprises an image-receiving sheet (a) comprising a dyeable resin layer 1, a base 2 and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 and a release paper (b) comprising a release layer 4 and a release paper base 5. Particularly, at least one side of the sheet (a) is folded back to the back side of the release paper (b), and is fixed by the adhesive layer 3. Thus, the sheet (a) is folded back and firmly fixed by adhering to the release paper base 5 devoid of the release layer 4 on the back side of the release paper (b) by the adhesive layer 3. Accordingly, at the time of printing by a printer, stable feeding can be achieved without levitation of exfolization even when frictional forces or catching is generated.
