The air vent hole 30 functions as an orifice that restricts the movement as the downward moving velocity of the piston 25 is increased, and the pressure produced in the cylinder chamber varies in accordance with the strength of the striking force. The pressure is detected by a pressure sensor C through an air tube 28 and is converted into voltage, so that the strength of the striking force is detected so that it enters any of four stages including 0. Thus, the strength of the striking force can be detected, and game with a site presence feeling can be enjoyed.
