description PURPOSE: To smoothly remove soil by providing a drum on a rear portion of a front end cutter of an excavator, and arranging two kinds of blades, i.e., a frontward blade and a rearward blade, in the drum about a central shaft core in a manner being displaced in phase from each other. CONSTITUTION: An excavator mounted on the front end of a propeller pipe 1 is provided with a front end cutter 2, and a rear portion of the cutter 2 is provided with a conical drum 4 for receiving excavated soil through a soil intake port thereof. Further, two kinds of blades, i.e., a frontward elongate blade 11A and a rearward short blade 11B for being rotated together with the cutter 2, are mounted in the drum 4 in a manner being displaced in phase by a predetermined angle from each other about a central shaft core P. Then, a lubricant and a foaming agent for smoothening soil removal are supplied to the soil within the drum 4 by the rotation of the blades 11A and 11B, and they are agitated. Thus, mixture of the soil and the foaming agent is accelerated by the agitation of the blades 11A and 11B, which leads to the smoothness of the soil removal.
