description PURPOSE:To obtain a superior toner causing little fluidity to a toner image after pressure fixing, having especially stable triboelectric charging properties and not polluting a carrier, etc. by adding a graft copolymer of a specified crystalline polymer and a specified amorphous polymer to a toner. CONSTITUTION:A 85-30wt% amorphous polymer having >=45 deg.C glass transition point and obtd. by using >=1 kinds of vinyl monomers such as styrene and n-butyl methacrylate is grafted on a 15-70wt% crystalline polymer having 45-200 deg.C m.p. and obtd. by using >=1 kinds of monomers selected from ethylene, propylene and vinyl acetate. The resulting graft copolymer is used as a binder for a pressure fixing toner. The copolymer is melted, kneaded with a colorant such as carbon black or magnetic powder, pulverized, and sieved to obtain the toner. Thus, the blocking of toner particles is prevented, and no toner is stuck to a rotor, etc. in the manufacturing process.
