description PURPOSE:To obtain the title vaccine by culturing viruses of bovine infectious diseases separately, deactivating the virus culture mixtures and mixing them. CONSTITUTION:A virus of bovine epizootic fever, IBARAKI disease or AKABANE disease is cell-cultured in the cells of an established subculture line such as HmLu-1 cells originating from lungs of infant hamster, Vero cells originating from kidney of green monkey, or BEK-1 (kidney cells of bovine fetus) to obtain a virus culture mixture. The product is deactivated by addition of formalin or irradiation with ultraviolet rays according to the nature of the virus. The individual deactivated virus products are mixed so that the amounts of 3 viruses become equal, when measured with infection powers before deactivation, to give the objective vaccine with safety ensured. EFFECT:Vaccine inoculation times are largely reduced to increase productivity from economical and working points of view.
