Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To uniformly and thinly coat the outer surface of a welded part with paint without scattering said paint, by using an applicator wherein a brush is mounted to the head end of a support equipped with a hole part for feeding the paint under pressure. CONSTITUTION:An applicator 6 is equipped with a cylindrical support 7 and the brush 8 mounted to the small recessed part 7a formed to the upper end thereof. A hole part 10 for feeding paint 9 under pressure is formed to the support 7 so as to extend in the axial direction thereof and the lower end of the hole part 10 is connected to a paint pump. In painting, the applicator 6 is arranged so that the axis of the support 6 is inclined (usually at about 30-60 deg.) in the advance direction (shown by an arrow A) of a welded can 1 and the leading end part 8b1 of the front part 8b of the brush 8 becomes almost parallel to the outer surface of a welded part 2. By this method, the welded can be painted without generating possibility such that the paint splashes into the welded can from the gap between the welded cans. |
