CHEMICAL AGENT ADDING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To hold the concn. of a chemical agent in a proper range, by mounting an inside container having water passing ports provided to the upper surface and lower part thereof nd receiving a solid chemical agent and an outside container having a drain port provided to the lower part of the insert part thereof for inserting the inside container. CONSTITUTION:A solid chemical agent is housed in each of inside containers 1 and a necessary number fitted to the scale of a cooling tower of the containers 1 are inserted in an outside container 7 from the insert port 9 opened to the scattered water receiving tray 8 thereof. Thereafter, the outside container 7 is mounted to the space, to which water is scattered, of the cooling tower 16 by utilizing an opening 15. Scattered water 18 is received by the scattered water receiving tray 8 of the outside container 7 and a part thereof flows in the inside containers 1 from the insert port 9 through the water passing ports 3 provided to the upper surfaces of the inside containers 1 and excessive water overflows the upper edge of the outside container 7 and the quantity of water flowing in the inside containers 1 is set to a proper range. Scattered water 18 is contacted with the solid chemical agent 2 and flows out to the outside container 7 while dissolves said chemical agent 2.
