SURGE NOISE ABSORBER

PURPOSE:To obtain a noise absorber which can be also used as an external terminal section as it is by penetrating a plurality of annular voltage dependent nonlinear resistor elements provided with electrodes on both end faces through a metal terminal, and connecting the electrodes through annular metal components. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of annular voltage dependent nonlinear resistor elements 6, 9 provided with electrodes 7, 8 and 10, 11 on both end faces are prepared. An annular metal component 18 is attached to the inner peripheries of the elements 6, 9 so as to penetrate through a metal terminal 12 and to be disposed adjacently to electrically connect the terminal 12 to the electrodes 7, 10. Further, another metal component 16 is attached to the terminal 12 through an insulator 17 to electrically connect the remaining electrodes 8, 11 of the elements. Then, leads can be connected to both ends 14, 19 of the terminal 12. Thus, a high integration is performed, and its surge suppressing effect can be enhanced.
