CONSTITUTION:The thing 3 to be coated attached to a hanger 2 hung from the trolley conveyer 1 is transferred to the direction shown by arrow X in the electrodeposition vessel 4 where an electrodeposition solvent 11 is circulated. The thing 3 to be coated is sent in the electrodeposition solvent recovery vessel 5 from the open gate 2b and passed through it to enter into the electrodeposition vessel 4 through the open gate 2a, and the electrodeposition coating is carried out by electric direct current while the thing 3 to be coated is soaked and transferred in the vessel 4. Then the coated thing 3 is transferred through the gate 6a of the rear end part of the vessel 4 to the electrodeposition solvent recovery vessel 5 of the rear end part, and is transferred to the outside of the vessel 5 through the gate 6b. Meanwhile the conveyer 1 is only horizontally moved without the slanting descent and ascent as in the ordinary apparatus. Moreover, in this electrodeposition coating apparatus, the control of the electrodeposition solvent as well as the cleaning of electrodeposition vessel are easy.
