description PURPOSE:To deal with desired humidity without dehumidifiers by a method wherein a proper number of inorganic material-based humidity conditioning members having the ratio of a surface area to a volume in response to the desired humidity are used as walls consisting of a humidity conditioned space concerned and screens, etc. in the condition of easy removal/movement. CONSTITUTION:Humidity conditioning members of which main component is calcium silicate-based xonotlite are connected with hinges to form a screen 1' or the members are constituted into wall lining members 1 bolted to the angle steels 5 of indoor structures 4 and they are installed at the desired locations of the space to be humidity- conditioned in the condition of easy removal/movement. Artificial woods A which are used as humidity conditioning members and composed of xonotlite 89%, which molecular organic compound 6%, and glass fiber 5% are dried to the woods having a moisture content of 2% and hold a humidity conditioning function such as to absorb or drain out moisture in air at the location of 2-3mm in the surface and their thickness is made to be about 20mm in consideration of moisture accumulation and they are used in the ratio of a surface area to a volume (an exposed surface area to a closed space volume) taken as 0.98m. Thus, humidity conditioning efficiency is improved and since dehumidifiers are not necessary, the device can be made at low cost.
