Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To simplify manufacturing processes by forming the plurality of slant knurled portions on the outer circumference of a polishing shaft by means of knurling so as to allow the ball bearing of a rotating wheel to be fixedly coupled with the shaft thereof. CONSTITUTION:The outer circumference of a polishing shaft 1 is formed with slant knurled portions 2, 2' and 2 by means of knurling in such away that the outer diameter of said slant knurled portions 2, 2' and 2 is made somewhat greater than the outer diameter of the shaft 1. And a ball bearing 4, the inner diameter of which corresponds to the outer diameter of the polishing shaft 1 within the allowance thereof, is engaged with one end of the shaft 1, is passed through No.1 slant knurled portion 2 with pressure, then is fixed with No.2 slant knurled portion 2'. Thus, the bearing 4 is installed on each of the slant knurled portions 2, 2' and 2 by repeating the aforementioned process in turn. This constitution enables the simplification of processes.
