description PURPOSE:To receive and record image signals from plural sources and to treat data even if they are simultaneously received from two sources by making an effective use of one recorder and a memory for color image signal processing, and combining plural reception circuits with them. CONSTITUTION:In the case of simultaneously receiving by the reception circuits 1 and 2, both print instruction of image signals PIX1 and PIX2 enter a control part 6, and the part 6 controls selectors 7, 8. This means that, in case one of the two image signals is a color signal and the other is a monochromatic signal, the latter signal is outputted to a recorder 3 as it is, but the former signal is buffered in the memory 4, and read out after the monochromatic print ends then outputted to the recorder 3. In case both signals are color signals, in accordance with the priorities preliminarily set in the control part 6, a signal of a higher priority is converted to a monochromatic image signal by a conversion circuit 5, then outputted to the recorder 3. The other color image signal is buffered in the memory 4, then read out from the memory 4 after the print of the foregoing input data ends, and outputted to the recorder 3.
