PNEUMATIC RADIAL TIRE

PURPOSE:To intend to improve uniformity of products and durability in high speed by offsetting edge reinforcing layers mutually in adjoining relation by fixed value to axial direction, as for a tire whose reinforcing layer is covered on edge with plural layers of belt edge reinforcing layer. CONSTITUTION:Edge portions of reinforcing belt layers (2) are covered with two layers of belt edge reinforcing layer (3) made of nylon cord. Thereupon, the belt edge reinforcing layer (3) of the second layer is offset to the belt edge reinforcing layer (3) of the first layer to the width direction by a distance (A), 3-10 times thickness (B) per one layer of belt edge reinforcing layer. Also, in a case when more belt edge reinforcing layers over three are used, they are offset in order in the same way. According to such a constitution, product trouble due to air bank is prevented and product uniformity is improved while durability in high speed can be improved.
