DISK PLAYER HOUSED IN MAGAZINE

PURPOSE:To start a performance without newly setting performance program every time a magazine is exchanged by providing a variable characteristic circuit for every magazine and obtaining the output of the variable characteristic circuit from the loaded magazine and performing the programs according to that output. CONSTITUTION:When the magazine is loaded into a player, the output terminal of the variable characteristic circuit 5 is combined with a connection terminal provided on the player side and the output of the variable characteristic circuit 5 is supplied to a characteristic detection circuit 6. When a new performance program preparing instruction exists, a keyboard 7 instructs a display means 11 to display the performance program preparing instruction in order to input a performance program. When the new performance program preparing instruction does not exist, the other performance mode such as an manual performance mode is executed. Thus the performance program is previously prepared for plural magazines and the corresponding program is automatically executed. In such a case, an objective program can be easily selected by freely modifying the contents of the variable characteristic circuit 5.
