description | PURPOSE:To desulfurize high-temperature gases remove dusts simultaneously while avoiding clogging and sintering of a desulfurizing agent, by cooling rapidly high temperature gases generated from a gasification furnace to 350-600 deg.C and suppressing carbon depositions, and by desulfurization. CONSTITUTION:High-temperature gases gasified in the gasification furnace 1 are introduced into the heat exchanger of gas rapid cooling 3 from its bottom, cooled to 350-600 deg.C and led to the desulfurizing and dust collecting device 5 so that the gases are desulfurized and dusts are collected simultaneously. The purified gases are removed from the outlet 6. The device 3 is packed with a fluid medium 7 such as an aluminum ball fluidally to prevent the heat transfer pipe 8 from coking. The device 5 is a moving bed type dust collect using the desulfurizing agent 10 as a filtering medium. Carbon adhered waste fluid material sent from the device 3 and dusts collected with the device 5 are introduced from the pipes 16 and 18 respectively into the bottom of the incinerator 17. Exhaust combustion gases are sent from the turbine 23 to the heat exchanger 24 to recover energy. |
