When the launcher 30 is full of the snow, a valve 34 is closed, and valves 50 and 48 are opened. Gaps between the moulded snow pieces in the launcher 30 are filled with water until water outgoes in a tank 54 through the valve 50, and the valves 50 and 48 are closed. With valves 46 and 36 opened, high pressure water is fed in the lauchers 30. After the moulded snow passes a sensor 60, the valves 34 and 46 are closed and a valve 56 is opened to feed the moulded snow in a snow conveyance pipe 32. Repetition of the aboves enables the snow to be conveyed for a long distance by the use of a small amount of water.
