OPTICALLY DRIVEN TYPE SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE

PURPOSE:To couple the 2nd light guide with the 1st light guide optically with high precision and to hold them in a device with high reliability by using the 1st fixture and the 2nd fixture provided to the 2nd light guide. CONSTITUTION:The 1st fixture 21 is provided with a pipe 31 which contacts the 2nd light guide 18 directly and has its outer periphery of the end part slanted and a nut 32 which moves as shown by an arrow to fix the pipe 31 to the 2nd light guide, and the nut 33 is fixed to the pipe 31 for moving the nut 32 threadably by a knock pin 34. Namely, the nut 33 is not completely round and the nut 32 is rotated while the nut 33 is held to press the slanting part of the pipe 31 by the nut 32; and the end part of the pipe 31 is contracted toward the center to clamp the end part of the pipe 31 to the 2nd light guide 18. Consequently, the optical transmission loss of the coupling part is reduced and an optical thyristor is driven in safety with even a fine optical signal, so that a reliable thyristor is obtained.
