PURPOSE:To improve operability and reliability through reduction in user control, by a method wherein a memory unit, storing a cooking condition set value at preceding cooking, is provided, and inputs the memory content as an initial value for setting of a new cooking condition to display it. CONSTITUTION:With a time key 6 turned ON, a microcomputer 20 stores the contents of a RAM for storage as an initial value for setting of a cooking time in a RAM for display. A preceding cooking time set value is displayed on a display part 4, and is set in a counter as an initial value for setting of a cooking tiem. When, with a control knob 5 turned in the direction of an increase, one full pulse is fed to an input port P2, the computer 20 counts up a value T of the counter only by '1', the value is updated to be stored in the display RAM to display it on a display part 4, and is updated to be stored in the storage RAM. When, with the control knob 5 turned in the direction of a decrease, one full pulse is fed to an input port P1, the computer 20 counts down the value T of the counter only by '1', and the value is updated to be stored in display and storage RAMs.
