description PURPOSE:To analyze and investigate on an off-line base a state before and after an abnormal state has been generated, by always inputting on/off information required for analyzing the contents of abnormality, storing it in a specified memory area, and stopping it when an abnormality has been generated. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed number of times for in how many cycles a copy is to be stopped after a diagnostic recording stop instruction, when an abnormality has been generated is set to a register 34. When a comparator 336 accepts a fact that a value to a copy frequency counter 335 after the abnormality has been generated has coincided, a signal 337 for stopping a copy of a diagnostic memory 41 is outputted, a copy start flip-flop 310 is reset, and a copy operation is stopped. In this case, when '0' time is set as a prescribed number of times, a copy is taken immediately when the abnormality has been generated, therefore, a data 421 for showing a motion immediately before the abnormality has been generated can be taken. Also, in case of '0' < a prescribed line (n) < a diagnostic memory store buffer capacity, data before 421 and after 422 the abnormality has been generated are known, and also if the prescribed number of times is a buffer capacity, the data 422 related to a motion after the abnormality has been generated is know.
