PIPE HOLE REPAIRING METHOD

PURPOSE:To improve the quality in repairing by inserting the sleeve having a taper inner face into an over-cut pipe hole and by inserting a hollow pipe expander from both sides as well, then by performing a recutting with the diffusion joining of the pipe hole face and sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The sleeve 2 which is thin in thickness and of the same material with that of a pipe plate 1 and which has the taper inner face 2a spreading to both sides is fitted into an over-cut hole 1a and the hollow pipe expanders 3, 4 having the same tapers 3a, 4a as that of the sleeve taper 2a are set by inserting into the pipe hole 1a. In this case, similar sleeve and pipe expander are set for preventing the deformation to the adjacent pipe hole. The hole 1a is then sealed with sealing members 5, 6 and the sleeve 2 is subjected to a diffusion joining to the hole 1a with a high frequency heating coil 7 as well and the re-cutting is performed by removing the pipe expanders 3, 4. In this way, the repairing quality is improved because of the bad effect onto the adjacent hole being prevented.
