Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the dehydration efficiency of the titled dehydrator by providing a seal to surround the compression part of a diaphragm, and making the distance between the adhered part at the compression plate and the sealed part longer than other cases at the protruding part at the upper part of the seal. CONSTITUTION:The compression plate 2 is closely attached to a filter plate 3, a negative pressure is impressed in a fluid chamber 23, and a seal protruding part 17a is turned 17b to the seal rear surface side to form a gap for charging sludge. Sludge is charged into a filter chamber 21 from an upper hopper through a chute and the gap formed between the compression plate 2 and the filter plate 3. When the charge of sludge is finished, the negative pressure in the fluid chamber 23 is turned off, a pressure fluid is introduced into the fluid chamber 23 through a pressure fluid supply port 29, and hence the seal 17 is pressed in the horizontal direction. The pressure fluid is then introduced into a fluid chamber 20 through a pressure fluid supply port 28 to press a diaphragm 15, and the water in the sludge is discharged from a filter cloth 18 and a discharge port 30.
