description PURPOSE:To obtain a high speed rotating disc-shaped molded material of good rotary performance, by suitably laminating a layer, in which one-directionally oriented carbon fiber preimpregnation is artificially isotropically laminated, and a circumferentially wound material. CONSTITUTION:A mold, consisting of a pair of upper and lower molds, is prepared, and a one-directional material or a circumferentially wound material, which is mounted onto the lower mold 3, performs preliminary pressurization by the upper mold 1. Here an effect of the pressurization is obtained if the metal mold is preheated to a low temperature for sufficiently fitting a molded material, while the method, in which a mold releasing sheet 4 is interposed preventing the molded material 2 from adhering, is also applied. And after the molded material 2 is fitted to the metal mold, preliminary molding is performed by similarly charging the mold with the second material and laminating it successively in the determined lamination order. Further these materials, when their shape is not so complicated, can be also pressurized simultaneously by charging the mold with these materials at one time. After the above molding, the high speed rotating disc-shaped molded material can be obtained by applying the temperature and the pressure necessary for molding a carbon fiber compound material as performed in the past.
