The isomerization is carried out preferably using an aliphatic hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon or their halide as a solvent. The amount of the catalyst is 10<-5>-10<-2>mol of organic aluminum per 1mol of the olefin used as a raw material and the reaction is performed at 10-100 deg.C.
