CONSTITUTION:Plural pairs of communication holes 101, 102, 111 and 112 for the communication between a compression space 46 and a discharge chamber 31 in discharge pressure are formed onto the base plate 51 of a fixed scroll 5, and an excessive compression preventing valve 100 which is opened by the excessive pressure in the compression space 46 is installed into each communication hole 101, 102, 111, 112. Since each pair of the excessive compression preventing valve 100 and the communication holes 101, 102, 111, and 112 are arranged so that the angular difference between the pair of communication holes 101, 102, 111, and 112 becomes 2pi or less, the excessive compression can be prevented over the whole compression cycle.
