TWO-DIMENSIONAL ELECTROPHORETIC DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of the position of gels in contact with each other and the reproducibility thereof by providing a vessel body having a slit- like spacing in which the prepn. and migration of the gel of the first dimension can be made to the specific position where said vessel body can rotate to the migration part of the second dimension to contact the same. CONSTITUTION:The vessel body 2 having the slit-like spacing 21 in which the prepn. and migration of the gel of the first dimension can be made is set to the specific position where said body rotates to the electrophoretic part 3 of the second dimension to come into contact with the same. The vessel body 2 in the state of holding the gel in the slit spacing 21 is, therefore, rotated by the rotational movement of the vessel body 2, by which the gel of the 1st dimension can be imposed on the side end 341 of the spacing 34 and the contact of the gel is executed without intrusion of foam into the flat plate-like gel held in place in the spacing 34 for the flat plate-like gel in the electrophoretic part 3 of the second dimension. The accuracy of the position of the gels in contact with each other and the reproducibility thereof are improved by such constitution.
