Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain an image with high resolving power at high speed without using an ink ribbon, by providing a recording electrode, to which an image recording signal is applied, to the supply side of a means for supply heat- meltable conductive ink so as to contact the same with the conductive ink. CONSTITUTION:A first recording electrode 5, which is constituted of a large number of divided electrodes parallelly arranged in the lateral direction, is provided to the wall part 1a of the powdery ink supply port of a hopper 1 while a second recording electrode 6 is provided to the wall part 1b of said supply port in opposed relation to said electrode 5. Then, the space between the electrodes 5, 6 is filled with powdery ink and a drive circuit 7 is connected to the electrode 5 and the electrode 6 is earthed. An image recording signal at every one line is inputted to the above mentioned drive circuit 7 to generate potential difference between the electrodes 5, 6. By this mechanism, a current is flowed to the powdery ink 2 to melt the same by Joule heat to record paper 3. Because the fine powdery ink 2 is used as a developer, the powdery ink is uniformly supplied to the electrode group to make it possible to perform image recording with high resolving power at a high speed. |
