Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enable the coating of a molded synthetic resin article in high efficiency, by coating the surface of a molded synthetic resin article with a paint for resin containing an aprotic polar solvent and a color pigment, drying and baking the paint, and top-coating with a paint free of said aprotic polar solvent. CONSTITUTION:The cleaned surface of a molded syntetic resin article is coated with a paint for resin containing (A) 5-40(wt)%, preferably 10-30% aprotic polar solvent, preferably a pyrrolidone compound of formula (R is H or 1-4C alkyl), especially N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and (B) a color pigment and the paint is dried and baked to obtain a base coating film. The surface of the base coating film is masked, coated with an intercoating and/or topcoating paint and baked after drying to form a top-coating film. Finally, the masking film is peeled off to finish the coating process.
